You agree to:

  • provide complete, accurate and truthful information;
  • provide supporting documentation when requested;
  • notify us promptly if any information changes;

You remain legally responsible for the accuracy of information lodged with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), even where we prepare or lodge documents on your behalf.

  • prepare taxation documents on your behalf;
  • communicate with the ATO if required;
  • submit tax returns or other applications to ATO;
  • request additional information where necessary.

6. Fees and Payment

Our fees are outlined on our website under the Pricing tab, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where applicable:

  • fixed fees apply to standard services;
  • additional fees may apply for complex matters, including investment properties, capital gains, business income, trusts, companies, partnerships, or amended returns;
  • payment may be deducted from your tax refund where this option is available and agreed;

  • additional hourly fees apply if quoted hours are exceeded for non-individual tax returns.

Unless otherwise stated, all fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

7. No Refund, No Fee Promotions

Where we advertise a “No Refund, No Fee” offer, the promotion applies only where:

  • you meet all eligibility criteria advertised at the time of engaging our services;
  • your tax return does not result in a tax refund despite our reasonable assessment based on the information you provide; and
  • the service requested falls within the scope of the promotion.

The “No Refund, No Fee” offer does not apply in the following circumstances:

  • the service relates to a tax return review, amendment, objection, or correction;
  • you are a non-resident for Australian tax purposes;
  • you are an individual earning income through your own Australian Business Number (ABN), including sole trader or business income;
  • you are a working holiday maker and your taxable income exceeds $45,000;

We reserve the right to determine eligibility for the promotion based on the information provided by you and any applicable taxation requirements. Additional fees may apply where services fall outside the scope of this offer.

The offer does not apply where work has been completed but cannot be lodged due to incomplete information, incorrect information, client withdrawal, or circumstances outside our control.

8. Turnaround Times

Estimated preparation or processing times are indicative only.

ATO processing times, verification procedures, audits, reviews or delays are outside our control.

We do not guarantee that refunds will be issued within any particular timeframe.

9. Maximum Refund Statements

Where we refer to obtaining the “maximum refund”, this means we will prepare your return using the information you provide and claim deductions and offsets that we reasonably believe you are legally entitled to claim under Australian taxation law.

We do not guarantee a particular refund amount.

10. Refund Policy

Fees paid for taxation and related professional services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, as fees relate to professional time, expertise, and services provided.

A refund request may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • a fee has been charged incorrectly;
  • we have not provided the service that was agreed upon;
  • duplicate payment has been made; or
  • another circumstance where a refund is required under applicable Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds will not generally be provided where:

  • you change your mind after we have commenced preparing your tax return;
  • you fail to provide required information or documentation;
  • delays occur due to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), government agencies, or circumstances outside our control;
  • your expected tax refund amount differs from the final refund outcome;
  • your tax return results in no refund unless you qualify under our advertised “No Refund, No Fee” offer;

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must contact us within a reasonable period and provide details supporting your request. We will review each request individually and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
